Stacey Lang, a world renowned astronomer at the South Pole, has just found evidence of a large celestial body at the edge of our solar system. She reports her findings to her fiancé Mike Bruin, the Undersecretary to the Secretary of Defense, Bill Larkin.  Mike tells Stacey she will need to come to Washington D.C. to talk to Bill.  In Washington, Bill tells Stacey that the government has known about the celestial body since the 1980s also known by many as planet X, Nibiru A.K.A. Jeremiah’s Destroyer. He tells her that the gravitational pull of the large mass will dislodge two small asteroids that will pass between the Earth and the moon.  He asks Stacey for the exact coordinates of these asteroids so the military can shoot them down.

While Stacey helps Bill she must deal with her own inner demons; her father raped her years earlier. She must deal with the haunting memory of her daughter Genevi, who was put up for adoption after the rape.  Genevi, in Stacey’s mind or for real, has given Stacey the paradox of the ages to solve. She tells her mom that she needs to solve the paradox in order to begin healing. When Genevi’s real intention is to make Stacey’s mind snap so she can’t make it through Armageddon.  The paradox is very heavily laced with religion and Stacey is having a meltdown because of her strong atheist views. Not only must she track two asteroids for Bill, she must also deal with her own head that she and others think may be playing tricks on her.

Bill gets word that Stacey may not be completely mentally stable, so he forces her to seek psychiatric help. He says the government has plenty of doctors who can help her. So he sends Stacey to M.I.T. not only to track the asteroids but also to seek medical assistance from his sister-in-law Lynn who works near M.I.T. While there Stacey meets an 8-year-old boy named Danny who claims to be Stacey’s guide to help save humanity not only from the asteroids and celestial bodies coming but also save Stacey herself from Genevi, who he claims is the devil. He tells Stacy that she is the leader of the 144,000 teachers of humanity who will teach the survivors after Armageddon. With Stacey’s anti-religious views she wants to hear none of that.

At the same time Bill is trying to get all the world leaders to start thinking about the idea of a single world government. He tries to convince everyone that doomsday is imminent and that billions of people will die. Whatever is left of humanity will have to go underground.  He must especially try to convince the Pope for if the Pope endorses the single world government then most Christians will follow Bill and Christians account for 1/3 rd of the world population. The Pope is of strong faith and does not trust Bill.

Bill receives Stacey’s calculations on the asteroids but instead of shooting them down he shoots them into another orbit and they come crashing into earth. With all the chaos Bill’s real plan of taking over the world starts to unfold.  The two asteroids unleash the kind of destruction the earth has never seen before. In doing so the book of Revelations is played out on all of mankind. This film is a riveting new-age look into Revelations. It marries both religion and science. It’s a powerful film along the lines of, “Da Vinci Code”, “Rosemary’s Baby” “The Omen”, and, “The Last Temptation of Christ.”
